It’s in the fifth slide (song: Live and let Die) 🚆 I got the @tgvlyria from Zurich to Paris to see @paulmccartney (my 4th time) live, and it was… fab! Worth the long wait. The stadium was full, everybody was singing. Paul is the perfect example of aging well, if a plant-based diet makes you like that, maybe I need to really do it. He has so many famous songs in his repertoire, music is my favorite form of art. Let’s all consume art.       I found this @moschino top in my mother ‘s close I found this @moschino top in my mother ‘s closet, it is 40 years old. I had completely forgotten it. I bought it at age 18 with my own saved money (earned with classes and summer jobs). This was the fabulous 80s , I used to wear it with cow boy boots, shorts, and rayban sunglasses even in the rain 😁 I had to recreate the outfit, and laugh at the memory, I was always so over-the-top! The second dress is “only” 9 years old, and it is actually my daughter’s. Everybody wears it, in the family. So let me say this again: shop in your closet, wear things again, buy second-hand, rent a dress, don’t crave stupid super expensive things and above all stop buying fast fashion. It is the third most polluting industry. It’s made with oil. it’s a form of modern slavery because people in the industry are treated terribly, and the huge amount of unsold items and waste are dumped in Africa. Use your imagination.       Finally the @venicemarathon_official are out! My Finally the @venicemarathon_official are out! My race highlights: 🎂1- Grandma Adelina turning 102. At the beginning of the marathon, before reaching Venice, I saw a leather armchair on the street, and a beautiful smiling lady, sitting on it. She was wearing a cream suit, her hair was styled in an up-to-date blonde bob, and a group of people of different ages – probably her family – was surrounding her. A big sign said: Nonna Adelina is turning 102 today! We runners went crazy. Instead of being cheered, we ourselves cheered this gorgeous family. Auguri! Happy Birthday, the runners shouted. What a great way to celebrate a birthday, making it public and super inspiring. I want to be like her. 🇮🇹2- Italian pace makers are something else. Apart from the fact that they flirt until km 42 (when you think they will be tired. But no), they chat and motivate you non stop. They encourage you to scream every number of every km in every language. They tell you to stop checking your watch and only go with them and with the beautiful feel of running. They tell you that you’re not actually running to the city of Venice. It’s Venice running to you. Can’t you see she is welcoming you and you are supposed to embrace her like a bella donna? 🍝3- The food. Even help stations have parmigiano and bananas, instead of plastic packages with chemicals inside. And the carbo load is paradise!
