IWC 150th Anniversary and Gala Evening

Last night IWC Schaffausen celebrated its 150th Anniversary with the launch of its limited edition Jubilee Collection and a lavish Gala at the SIHH, in Geneva.
About 800 guests graced the red carpet, including brand ambassadors, global stars such as Cate Blanchett, Bradley Cooper and Dev Patel, sports celebrities like Fabian Cancellara, Jan Frodeno and David Coulthard, models and influencers like Karolina Kurkova and Adriana Lima, and of course some bloggers, like Kristina Bazan – and us.
It is always a huge pleasure rubbing shoulders (and often dancing) with such inspiring people, and I dare say that, in Switzerland, this is the party of the year. Most of the guests are incredibly friendly and ready for a chat, and of course for a photo. The good food and some wine might help too!
A musical highlight was the performance of Aloe Blacc with Ronan Keating – live music during the dinner always makes people move and have fun.
The celebrities were almost too many to mention, but my heart beats for Italy and for sport, so I had to have a quick talk with Italian actor Pirefrancesco Favino, with TV personality Alessia Marcuzzi, and with German triathlete Jan Frodeno.
Another fantastic evening full of glamour and incredible watches! The whole Jubilee collection will be presented at the SIHH from the 19th January.
