What Are The Colors of Christmas?

Which colors should be used to decorate a table, and in general the house, at Christmas? And how about clothes and party gowns? Thank you

An old Italian rule (still valid and used to decorate shop windows and interiors) used to say: “at Christmas, the colors allowed are those of the Italian flag, plus silver and gold”.
The Italian flag is green, white and red. Add some sparkle and you’ll have it!
Of course one can decorate a tree or table in yellow or blue or any other tones, but the result won’t be as festive.
