I have been an Odlo ambassador some years ago, and I have met some marketing people…in their office. So yes, I probabili knew it before you were even born! I went to the Sahara all dressed in Odlo (to do Marathon des Sables), and to Everest Marathon, also completely dressed by this brand.

I was warned by Odlo PR that the products were really small and I replied that a baselayer has to be tight. It has to fit like a second skin. And the Blackcomb Base Layer does! I can’t wait to see you in this outfit.

That sounds like a compliment – finally. And yes, it is true; if you only wear the baselayer, you can show off your body. Which is one of my favorite things to do, especially at age 58: I am proud of my body and love using underwear as an outfit. But only if it features two more points: 1. It is also very comfortable, and 2. It can be worn underneath my usual training gear. Which is exacly the case now. So with one outfit, I get two. and with one running mate in Türlersee, I also get a flirt!

Before our conversation gets too steamy, let’s go for a run. Three things caught my attention with these products. They are seamless. So comfortable witout any seams. My top has got an attached hood. That is super practical. This means I need no neckwarmer or a cap. And finally, our outfit look awesome. I mean seriously, when were you brave enough to run around in your underwear?!

If you wanted to make me jealous, you managed. You are going to the warmth with your girlfriend (who is much faster than me as well), and, with me, you only run at minus temperatures. Oh well, I’ll show off to my family, wearing the Blackcomb Base Layer at home, and then to go out with the dog, in Spring.
