Boho Beach
One of our favourite summer looks is coloured, layered, practical and fun – welcome to the boho beach. Boho Chic started in the 90s and reached its heights in 2005 with Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, and the Olsen twins in the US. Today the trend has become a classic and is particularly successful with off duty models, Coachella festival goers, Kardashian sisters, Victoria’s Secret Angels and beach goers.
Floaty, hippie influenced dresses and a lot of fun accessories signalise the look. Tassel bracelets, wooden pearls, fringes, wide-brimmed hats, belts, chunky jewellery, metal tattoos can all be used together. Here a recap of this summer’s boho inspirations.
Headpieces
From a simple leather string to full head jewellery, head decorations add a hippie touch to your beach look.
Wide-brimmed hats
Get some shade in style.
Tassel bracelets
Colored fabric adds fun to any outfit.
Fringes
You can put them everywhere, this season: on vests, bags, skirts, scarves, ponchos, belts and even summery boots.
Crochet
Add a retro, home made look to top, dresses and bikinis.
Flash tattoos
Metallic tattoos that last only some days, but shine as much as real jewellery.
Chunky Necklaces
Kiinis
A mixture of streched fabric and crochet, kiinis are sexy, fun and boho.
