Breakfast is often described as the most important meal of the day, providing sustenance and energy for whatever activities lay ahead. A healthy breakfast should provide you with 20-25% of your total daily nutrient requirement and it should be eaten within two hours of waking.

“Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper.” As nutritionist Adelle Davis said.

Many studies have shown how eating breakfast can improve memory and concentration levels, it can also make us happier as it can improve mood and lower stress levels. It also helps to restore the energies you loose while asleep, gives you those for your morning activities and helps you to consume fibre, vitamins and even some minerals. What we eat and what we drink first thing in the morning can exert a pretty dramatic effect on both our health and mentalwell-being.

For having even a better start into the day I decided to add Actimel as a breakfast drink to my morning routine. I choose limette-ginger-yuzu taste, and I can’t wait to share with you the benefits /and or the cons of my new breakfast entry.

I usually start my day drinking warm water and lemon, as it helps the digestion, boosts the immune system, and has a detox effect. Before I drink coffee – I eat. My usual meal consist in a bowl of mixed cereals with banana, chia seed, blueberries, peanut butter, dates and rice or almond milk. Never missing is either a grapefruit, an orange or fresh orange juice. This combination gives me all the nutrients and the fuel I need to be as productive as possible for the fist half of the day.

Unbalanced diet, high stress, less sleep, and lack of daily exercise can all put your digestive system out of balance, which then gives harmful bacteria the opportunity to multiply. As a result, you may suffer from poor digestion or weak immunity. – As some of these things might occur from time to time in my life I want to give a try to probiotic drinks in my diet. Will try these little drinks now on – and I ll be sharing with you how I feel about it!

Let’s start!
