Best Hotel in Neuchâtel
Millennial city with lots of charm, Neuchâtel will enchant you with its elegant yellow-ochre buildings and its privileged location at the largest entirely Swiss lake. I have had this destination in my bucket list for a while, so I finally decided to spend a weekend there with my husband, in the best hotel in town, the Beau Rivage Neauchâtel, part of the Swiss Deluxe Hotels group. The location is unbeatable, and the views one enjoys at breakfast, from the rooms or simply for a drink are breath taking.
City and Hiking
I love city life, and Neuchâtel offers culture, entertainment, a Belle Epoque feeling, and of course its famous watch-making industry. But if you love nature and want to see the most spectacular hike in this part of Switzerland, make sure you include Creux du Van to your trip.
The natural rock arena of immense proportions, located at the border of the cantons of Neuenburg and Vaud, boasts an impressive 160 meter high vertical rock and a 4 km long and over 1 km wide valley basin. It’s totally worth the steep walk, and of course perfect for Instagram pictures…
