Is there a way to wear a watch at its best?
One day on the rooftops of Zurich Geri and I started to discuss about two different versions of the same watch, the iconic IWC Ingenieur Automatic.
In Geri’s opinion, this model is the perfect everyday watch of understated elegance. A black dress, a straw hat and the beautiful views surrounding the Abbey of Fraumünster make the perfect backdrop to its shape and design – that’s what she wanted for these pictures.
In my opinion, an Ingenieur is immediately noticeable and powerful. It’s the watch that got me most comments from men since I wear IWC – there is something about its proportions that often draws their attention.
I chose a classic black and white ensemble by Sandro for this shooting, because I find the Ingenieur suits this uncluttered outfit very well.
