How To Present A New Watch
What happens when IWC launches a new watch by Fabian Cancellara? That everybody has to bike, of course! And that we all learned what his lucky number is.
77 Km
Last Wednesday I was invited to the event and had the chance to spend a day with Fabian and a group or bikers/watch lovers joining him.
The route (from Bern to Moosegg and through the Emmental back to Bern) was 77 Km long, to celebrate the 77 new watches – the limited edition Ingenieur Cronograph Edition Cancellara. Why these numbers? Because Fabian participated really actively in the whole process of creating and launching “his” watch. And his lucky number is 7.
The Perfect Day
Beautiful Switzerland was the perfect backdrop for the ride, and the atmosphere was great. Lunch was sensational: star chef Nenad Mlinarevic spoiled us with an incredible meal that showed me why he has been named Chef of the Year by Gault Millau.
